NOC 2022 Connection Festival: Highly Successful
Sunday, November 13, was an amazing day for NOC. It was perfect for celebration, with a clear blue sky and brisk temperature. More than 400 people from all walks of life enjoyed a variety of food, dancing, music, and other activities in celebration of the NOC community. So many talented and generous people offered their time, resources, and support to make sure the event was successful.
One of the benefits of this program was that it contributed to better understanding and relationships among working families and neighbors. Funds generated from this program will support NOC’s flagship education program to help children excel academically.

Exciting Halloween Celebration at NOC’s New Oaks Learning Center
On October 26, the children at NOC’s New Oaks Learning Center were jubilant, as they celebrated Halloween. NOC’s field staff, volunteers, and parents partnered to host this wonderful celebration, which included colorful decorations and a variety of activities to engage the children. The children were excited, and had a lot of fun, plus goodies to en.joy. This was indeed a day to remember for the children.
Our special thanks to the NOC team, volunteers, and parents for this social event involving children and families from various neighborhoods in HHI
Never too young to volunteer …
This hard-working “volunteer” stayed back with his mom and other volunteers to clean NOC’s Learning Center at the Lowcountry Presbyterian Church in Bluffton, following a special event. His no nonsense style is infectious, and he is a good role model for us all. He is destined to receive an NOC scholarship to attend NOC’s after school program, starting from Pre-K.
An adorable “volunteer…”
