On October 5, 2022, Dr. Narendra Sharma spoke at the Ethics Seminar held at the University of South Carolina in Hilton Head Island. Dr. Gordon Haist, Chair of the Board of Directors, HHI Ethics Group moderated. About 50 individuals were present and several other individuals connected via ZOOM
Dr. Sharma’s presentation focused on the ethics of economic development and growth from a global, national, and local perspective. Much of the presentation focused on ethics and economic considerations in addressing issues related to workforce housing for low- and moderate income households in Hilton Head Island. Dr. Sharma made a number of recommendations to tackle this issue from a long-term perspective.
