It was supposed to be a routine visit to NOC’s New Oaks Learning Center, but it turned out to be an especially delightful time.
As I arrived at the Center, I was greeted by kindergarten and first grade students. The older students had already entered the building, but these students surrounded me and gave me an ear full about the abundant supply of caterpillars locally. They were throwing facts at me and even sang a caterpillar song. Clearly, they were in a joyful mood, happy, full of energy, and eager to share their newly acquired knowledge.
