Over the past 10 years, NOC has directed its efforts and resources to help high risk children who carry the burden of poverty excel in school. NOC’s partnership with the Beaufort County School District must be strengthened to help address this problem quickly. To this end, NOC is engaged in discussions with Dr. Herbert Berg and his senior staff to find innovative solutions for dealing with this pressing issue.
